Petrochemicals

Aromatics

Aromatics, which are hydrocarbons primarily sourced from oil and, to a lesser extent, from coal, include key products such as Toluene, Xylenes, Benzene, and Paraxylene. These compounds mainly serve as raw materials for a wide range of petrochemical intermediates and, to a lesser extent, as octane boosters in gasoline formulations.

Methanol

Natural gas can be economically converted into liquid form using methanol, making it easier to transport and a vital chemical feedstock for producing a variety of industrial and consumer goods. In a rapidly growing market, it has also emerged as a clean-burning, cost-effective alternative fuel, especially for applications such as biodiesel, methanol-to-olefins, and direct gasoline blending.
